There's so many different ideas out there in the Pinterest world. Have you ever taken different ideas and combine them to create your own?!? I have and probably will do it more in the future. This is what I did:
For Michael's first birthday party I made this Happy Birthday banner with pictures of him for all the months of his first year. If you'd like to learn how I made this, read my post Making a one year old Happy Birthday banner.
So, you spend all that time making things for a party that only lasts like 2 or 3 hours, what do you do with them? Just throw them out? NO! I originally wanted to hang them up in Michael's room, but decided to hang them elsewhere in the house. Here's where the second Pinterest idea comes into play. I've seen several different pins out there, but I like this how-to video by HeyKayli on YouTube.
I purchased the frames from Michaels on clearance and purchased the wire and hooks at Walmart.
I love the way they turned out and think I might make another set like this if we have another baby.
