Meal Plan Run Down for September

I decided that at the beginning of each month I would do a little run down of how the meal plans went for the month before.  Here's how the month of September went:

As you can see in the picture above, I have a dry erase calendar (my post DIY Dry Erase Calendar will show you how I made it) on the side of our fridge where we write down our weekly meal plans.  Having this helps try not to repeat our meals.  Doesn't always work, but does help.

I was hoping that this month would be better than other months in the past, but that was not the case.  Many meals were not made this month or were carried over in hopes to make them.  We ended up only really making 12 of the 21 meals listed above.  I guess that's not too bad, but what really should happen is every planned meal should be made.  That's my goal for this month and hopefully with a change in Jon's work schedule, that will happen.
