Simple dry erase message board
Several months ago Jon and I started working on our command center in the kitchen. Originally we were not going to have a message board, but decided to have one since the original plan for this photo frame with glass didn't work. For the past few months, it's just been a white background, but I wanted something to add some color and character to the center.
This was the inside sheet that was in the frame. I originally had it flipped over to the white side, but felt that it was too plain. I ended on using this to help with the new background.
I bought these 12x12 scrapbook pages from Hobby Lobby for around $0.25 each! I wanted something that went well with the kitchen color scheme. I also knew that I needed an easy pattern so that I could seamlessly put them together.
Look at that! Can barely see that there's two sheets. I used double sided tape to hold the two sheets together. I then cut it to size so it would fit inside the frame like a picture.
I'm really happy with the way that it looks. We've been using it for our grocery list, but also use it to write each other messages. There's the simple way to make a dry erase board out of a photo frame that you already had. All you have to do is buy some dry erase markers and an eraser.
