"Neighbors Helping Neighbors" 2015 - filling a stocking for a 2 - 5 year old boy

Is it me, or does Christmas just seem to come faster and faster each year?  Well, it's fast approaching and that means filling stockings for the Loudoun County's Holiday Coalition, "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" through Michael's preschool.

We did this last year (Filling a Christmas stocking for "Neighbors Helping Neighbors") and had a great time picking out the items and filling the stocking.  Since this was something through Michael's school, we shop for the age group that Michael falls in.  This makes it helpful with him picking things out - if he likes it than another boy will too.  Here's what's pictured above:
  • tooth paste
  • knit hat
  • 2 pairs of gloves
  • Mickey Mouse
  • woodshop kit
  • 2 Peanuts coloring books
  • puzzle with a resealable bag
  • Peanuts grab and go bag
  • 2 tooth brushes
  • 2 gluesticks
  • slinky jr
  • silly puddy
  • yo-yo
  • sissors
  • paint kit
  • Christmas pack (pencil, eraser, sharpener, and little activity book)
  • jump rope
  • jumbo eraser
  • crayons
  • bouncy ball

I got everything except for the slinky jr and Peanuts grab and go bag.  Some little boy here in Loudoun County is going to be so happy when they receive this stocking in early December.  I was also happy to see that Mickey Mouse is finally going to have a home.  I bought him a few years ago for an Operation Christmas Child box and could never seem to get him to fit.
