Grocery Trip Breakdown for July 11th - 17th, 2016

Last week I didn't get around to the grocery store so I had a $50 carry over which gave us a $100 grocery budget to work with.  Here's what I got at Walmart and Wegmans with the prices of each item.

Walmart
Wegmans
Item
Prices
Item
Prices
loaf of wheat bread $1.84 OJ $4.69
loaf of French bread $1.00 gallon whole milk $2.89
chicken broth $1.58 pepperoni $2.39
chicken soup $1.58 x 2 = $3.16 family pk tortellini $8.99
vegetable soup $1.58 x 2 = $3.16 apple juice $3.89
bean with bacon soup $1.58 x 2 = $3.16 bacon $4.99
10pk juice boxes $3.32 family pk chicken breasts $11.41
pizza blend cheese $2.22 onions 1.25
16ct go-gurt $4.47
gummies $2.00
Frosted Flakes $3.98
tortilla chips $2.98
Walmart Total = $33.69 Wegmans Total = $41.51

The grand total spent was $75.20 leaving us with $24.80 to add to next week's budget.  The carry over will come in handy because we are starting to run low on some household items that I'll probably need to buy next week.
