Several months ago Jon and I started working on our command center in the kitchen. Originally we were not going to have a message board, but decided to have one since the original plan for this photo frame with glass didn't work. For the past few months, it's just been a white background, but I wanted something to add some color and character to the center.
At the beginning of April we got the news that my dad's kidneys and liver were failing. Since Michael, my nephew, and two nieces are 5 and under, I wanted to make sure that they had something to remember Granddad by, to be able to hold, play with, and to talk to when they needed to talk to someone.
When we were at my Mom's house during Memorial Day weekend, she made this supper easy and delicious meal. I'm all for crockpot meals and Jon really liked it so, it will probably be put in our rotation.
After a week of not hardly being home, we're back and have a plan of attack! Here's what I'm planning for dinner this week:

Our third day of our Walt Disney World vacation back in December was at Hollywood Studios. Since most of the park was shut down, we did more character meetups than rides. Even with that being said, we still ended up having to come back another night to ride some rides and still didn't ride everything.

I was out of town for the weekend and left the shopping up to Jon and Michael. I did have the list and meal plans figured out before heading out on Friday. Here's the meal plan I have planned this week:
This past weekend we were out of town, but I was still able to come up with a dinner plan after we came back. I must admit that I'm really liking doing the grocery shopping while Michael is in school. Going to miss going on my own over the summer. Here's the dinners I have planned for this week:
This week is Teacher Appreciation week and today was bring in a sweet treat for your teacher. When I was at Walmart last night buying the candy, there were several other kids getting candy for their teachers.
