The Magic Kingdom is currently one of the larger parks at Walt Disney World so we decided to take two days there to make sure we experienced everything.  We still didn't get to experience everything.

Last weekend I wanted to bring something for our trip down to visit my dad and step-mom.  I had decided on apple crisp and had a family recipe that I've made before.  I wanted to make sure that my sister-in-law would be able to eat it since she has to eat gluten free.  I spoke with her about what I need to substitute to make this simple recipe good for her and my nephew to be able to eat it.

I'm always looking for some fun and fairly cheap ways to decorate the house.  What's better than decorating your house with the things that your little ones have made?

We were out of town over the weekend and didn't get around to doing our weekly shopping until yesterday.  I didn't really have a list or a meal plan before Michael and I headed out to do the shopping.  Here's what I came up with for the remainder dinners this week:

Having kids really puts some real wear and tear on your furniture.  It wasn't too bad when Michael was a baby, we could keep the couch looking nice and clean.  Once he started being mobile and using sippy cups, the couch was always a mess.  Over a year ago, I had written a post called Cleaning Microfiber Furniture.  It works, don't get me wrong, but the big problem with it was that you had to use rubbing alcohol and for me it was lot's of it.

I'm all about dumping dinner in the crockpot and walking away.  Then hours later your dinner is ready for you.  I had found this recipe about three years ago on stick a fork in it and have used it for more than just chicken.  It's great on pork chops and a pork loin.  I hadn't made it for awhile and decided that I would make it since we needed to switch things up for our meal planning.

This week we needed to stock up on a few things and buy stuff for snack time for Michael's class.  It was a good thing that we had a carry over of money from the previous week.  Here's what we have planned for dinners this week:
