I hope this a sign of good things, we did a wonderful job last week on staying with the dinner plan.  That's my goal this year in hopes to help us eat healthier by not doing drive-thru all the time and saving us some money.  Fingers cross this continues!  Here's the plans for dinner this week:

In order to try and keep our up-right freezer stocked with meats, I had noticed that our hamburger supply was starting to run low.  Since most of the items that we needed didn't cost that much, I knew I would be able to swing a family pack of hamburger meat.  Here's the list of items that I bought at Walmart and Wegmans:

Walmart
Wegmans
Item
Prices
Item
Prices
French bread loaf $1.00 OJ $2.49
mozzarella cheese $2.47 pepperoni $2.39
tomato sauce $0.44 gallon whole milk $3.19
pizza sauce $0.98 tortilla shells $1.49
sour cream $1.92 apple juice $4.99
extra virgin olive oil $3.96 pop tarts $2.99
Stouffer's lasagna $7.98 family pk 80% ground beef $17.03
2 2L Dr Pepper $1.00 x 2 = $2.00
2 2L Pepsi $1.00 x 2 = $2.00
Walmart Total = $23.32 Wegmans Total = $35.43

We had a carry over of $11 from the week before which made the new budget $61.00.  Extremely helpful since I bought the family pack of hamburger meat.  The grand total spent was $58.75.  With the new budget of $61.00, we were under budget by $2.25.  I also earned $0.26 back from my Walmart purchase through their Savings Catcher app.
