A week of carry overs - Meal Plans and Grocery trip for August 15th - 21st

So last week we didn't stick to the meal plan, so this week meal plan are all carry overs.
  1. ham steaks
  2. BBQ Pork Chops
  3. Pizza Casserole
We actually didn't do our grocery shopping until last night, Monday.  Michael was in his third week of swim class on Friday and we were out of town the rest of the weekend.  Since we didn't need much, we just went to Wegmans to grab the items that we needed.  Here's the list and the prices of each item:
  • gallon of whole milk  $3.49
  • OJ  $2.49
  • dozen large eggs  $1.99
  • bananas  $0.99
  • apple juice  $5.49
  • potato chips  $2.50 and 2/$4.00 = $6.50
We were just going to buy one bag of potato chips, but Wegmans finally brought back Jon's favorite brand so he had to buy two of them as well.  Our budget for the week was our normal $50 plus the remainder $4 from the week before.  The total spent was $21.47.  That leaves us with $32.53 to add to next week's budget!  I also earned $0.25 for the bananas and $0.50 for the eggs through Checkout 51.
